Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation

Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation is a new hydrating matte foundation. This is a new hydrating matte finish foundation that promises to keep skin moist yet still manages to provide a smooth, matte finish.
Dry skin is a pain to deal with especially  when it comes to foundations but oily skin can be hard to deal with at times with controlling oil, shine. When skin is dry we try to add as much moisture to try and keep it hydrated trying not to look completely oily. People with oily skin tend to reach for the powder to mattify their skin but there is a thing called over mattifying and can make your skin look dull.
Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation is a soft, matte, and hydrating foundation, hydrating enough for even drier types without taking the moisture from skin, it is also gentle, matte, and lightly hydrating for oily skin to help shine yet still provide a bit of moisture that won’t make you any more oily or greasy.
Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation is i really good foundation but like all other foundations it still showed the dry parts of my skin im not sure weather it is the foundation or its just my skin but i do really like this foundation for an everyday foundation. This really soft, velvety cream foundation glides on skin like a second skin and looks incredibly fresh and flawless.
This is a soft, velvety mousse texture with a creamy whipped consistency that blends flawlessly and smoothly into skin leaving behind even, soft perfected coverage. I am in the shade 10 Ivory. It did provide smooth, flawless coverage that was easy to build, easy to wear, and incredibly lightweight.
I did notice thats it did blur my large pores and some fine lines around my eyes so it does provide a smooth canvas for when you apply the rest of your make up.

Mac Waterweight foundation

MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation is MAC’s new fluid gel serum foundation that promises a comfortable long wear that offers sheer to medium coverage.
So I thought i would give it a try.

MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation is available in over 24 shades and sports a multitasking formula that provides sun protection in the form of an SPF 30, oil control, and also promises to add hydration with a moisture-fusion complex to skin along with sheer to medium coverage.
The name can be slightly misleading as this really isn’t a water or watery in texture at all but has more of a gel-like creamy consistency.

As I mentioned above this formula isn’t water in nature so I never had issues with the product separating. Granted, a little shake before use is a good idea but isn’t always necessary as this isn’t a bi-phase formula so there are no separation issues.  It contains a nice assortment of antioxidants as well as Vitamin E and sodium hyaluronate which is an excellent ingredient that retains water and moisture.
This strikes the perfect balance between semi-matte and satin. Out of the bottle it’s feels lightly hydrating and blends easily onto skin with a satin finish I like the fact that no matter how much you apply this foundation still provides natural, skin-like coverage. You only need a very little amount to do your entire face as it is pigmented. And unlike other fluid foundations this provides excellent coverage for those seeking a more medium finish to perhaps hide blemishes, redness, or other skin imperfections. You can also easily mix it with primer or moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer formula of sorts.
I wouldn’t say the finish is exactly matte but it does set to a satin finish but I didn’t feel like it was very moisturizing aside from the initial application. But my skin never felt dry or dehydrated with the sheer application I applied. I do however, strong advise on using a moisturizing primer if you intend to layer this for medium coverage as it does go a bit cakey so you wanna give yourself a nice soft, smooth, well moistened area to work on for the best possible finish.
I wore it all day for my daughters 1st birthday party and i noticed that it didnt wear off it lasted a really long time.
MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation is worth checking out if you like fluid foundation.

MUA Luxe velvet lip lacquer

Hey guys I have a few lip swatches from the MUA velvet lip lacquer range and its the first time i have tried liquid lipstick lipsticks and i thought these were really good especially for the price.
i have some lip swatches of the ones that i have so you can have a look at them (mind the really bad applications).

Tranquility:
Starting with tranquility, which is a beautiful browny nude.
It applied beautifully, i do really like it but it is just a little dark for my skintone.
Its very smooth when applying but it doesn't really last too long.

Aflush:
This is the perfect Spring/Summer shade.
A very bright coral. I have noticed that it applies a little bit differently than the other shades,
it dries quicker so you don't really have time to clean up any mistakes.
It really is such a beautiful colour.

Criminal:
Another perfect Spring/Summer Shade.
This beautiful bright Fuschia Pink shade has amazing prigmentation, looks amazing on the lips and it would also suit any skintone.
It also only takes one coat for this beautiful pigmentation.

Funk:
This beautiful muted pink is perfect for statement lips without being too bold when you don't want to.
Applies like a dream, and for someone who doesn't wear colours like this I really do
like this colour and i wear  it alot.

Reckless:
This is your PERFECT RED!
Perfect for everyone and i really love to wear this (And I never wear reds),
but this wears amazing i highly recommend this shade.

Kooky:
You really do have to be brave to wear this shade, but if you like rich deep purple shades then
this is for you!
it dries with a slight sheen to it so not totally matte, but it such an amazing colour.

Serene:
This colour is so beautiful but i did find it hard to apply to my lips.
it may take sometime to apply it evenly it may need at least two coats to make it even.

Atomic:
This is an orangey red shade its really beautiful and it is really pigmented all you need is one swipe on the lips and you can cover all of your lips it really is amazing.
